KIDS LACROSSE CLASSES & CAMPS
Cherokees 3.5 year old lacrosse
Independent beginner’s class which focuses is on the basic introductory skills of stick handling, cradling, shooting and scooping with a variety of fun games that are developmentally appropriate.
Apaches – 4 year old lacrosse
Teach basic skills of the game. Focus on stick handling skills, cradling, shooting, dodging and scooping on the move with an introduction to stationary passing and catching.
Mohawks – 5 year old lacrosse
Advanced curriculum that focuses on stick handling skills, cradling, shooting, scooping, dodging, passing and catching on the move with small sided games and most importantly working together as a TEAM!
Shooting Stars Lacrosse Clinic (5-7 year olds)
Children with some playing experience. Emphasis on scooping, cradling, shooting, dodging, passing and catching the ball. A scrimmage concludes each week reinforcing the skills taught that day.
Shooting Stars Lacrosse Camp (4-7 years)
Emphasis is on developing the child’s individual skills such as cradling, shooting, scooping, dodging, passing and catching the ball. Children will be grouped according to age or ability. Competitive skill based games are played and we conclude each day with a small sided game! Bring lacrosse stick or one will be provided.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a drink.
