Coach Margaret

Coach Margaret has been coaching youth sports since 1998. She has experience coaching boys and girls for 13+ years at intramural, developmental, and competitive levels ranging 5 – 18 years old.  She holds two soccer coaching licenses through NSCAA-LIJSL Regional at both the “B” & “C” levels.  She has incorporated 30+ years of soccer experience, preschool teaching experience, love of children with knowledge of the game and founded Shooting Stars Sports in 2011.  Shooting Stars Sports Long Island has quickly grown across Nassau & Suffolk Counties.

Coach Margaret volunteered as a NCHU Board of Director for seven years from 2007-2013. In 2013, she was honored with the Long Island Junior Soccer League’s “Volunteer of the Year” award from the NCHU Soccer Club.  She is a Charity Chairperson for NCHU Columbus Tournament which raises funds for breast cancer research. She served as a Board Member on the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund for four years.  Coach Margaret is the 2024 Winner of the BFCU Best of Long Island Camp Counselor.
